So I kept hearing Amaryllis talk about this party she was going to have.
She got her Disney Princess magazine in the mail, and one of the activities gave you steps on how to have a princess tea party. They even included printables and whatnot. It's a cute magazine, btw, and so is the Disney Jr one.
Anyways I happened to walk by her little art table while cleaning up late after a date night, so I hadn't seen what she had worked on all night, and saw this.
I did some detective work and pieced all the information together:
So apparently she was planning to have some friends over the following day. News to me!
But I just rolled with it. She woke up and got to work making her list and telling me everything she needed to do.
She set the picnic table on the patio. They each had a friend come over.
She got in her "i'm so mature" cutely bossy prim and proper mode and did a great job being a little hostess.
I spied on them from my upstairs bedroom window.
Her little friend is a year older, and already outgrowing these kinds of things. I'm sad for the day when Amaryllis doesn't want to dress up or have tea parties or do princessy things :(
Kensington and Finley loved playing the games that come in the magazine.
