Girly Things

I must say I really do love my girly life.  I know there's nothing like a son's love (so they say) but since I don't know what I'm missing, I honestly don't feel any loss about it.

I love embracing the girly lifestyle.

Here's our family jewelry box, compliments of Grandma K who has a great skill called "if we see it somewhere like in a model home, she can track it down and have it delivered the next day".  Such a nice skill to have :)

The best $1 I spend is every 10 days.  I place a crisp dollar on top of Amaryllis' laundry basket of clean clothes, and place it outside her door at night.  This particular morning I had forgot about it and didn't know she even did it, but I was pleasantly suprised to walk in her room and see her clothes basket neatly organized, freshly folded, all 3 drawers.  Sidenote: this has taken a solid year of training and being consistent on my part, she was not born this amazing.

Maybelle has been dubbed "Best Dressed on a Daily Basis" by the workers at the YMCA childcare.  Since there's no point in saving any "nice" clothes in her closet, she pretty much wears all her fancy nice sunday dresses all the time, cuz I think they are cute, and I'm just giving them away anyways so I don't care if they get trashed.

She is JUST LIKE AMARYLLIS that it's scary.  She's barely 18months and for the last few weeks keeps coming and telling me that she went poop, then the last few days she tells me before she needs to poop, then this particular day she took me to the toilet and wanted me to take off her diaper.

(I humored her but I'm no idiot.  I'm not going to potty train her for like 5 years).

Amaryllis is always creating things.  This is a rainforest jungle:

They love playing house, playing family, playing Ma and Pa, or playing "poor people"...

I've been finding cute notes hidden for me.  I love it.  I especially love the one that she signed:

"Be Protected"

Our park days continue.  Miss Kelly the best with hair.

Speaking of Miss Kelly and hair...

And here's another park day:

And a baby shower for my friend, who after 4 girls, is finally having a boy! I did nothing for the shower except snap some iPhone picts (and eat a lot), but we have decided we all must stick to our roles :)
