So I have this old kitchen clock (notice the spoon/knife/fork design). I've had it in the nursery but every time I see it, it bothers me because obviously it doesn't match the room and belongs in a kitchen. But it is functional so I've kept it there.

But then: best genius idea ever! Leftover paper from my nursery art, duh!

I cut a hole in some cute, heavy, card stock paper and stuck it on there. Voila. It looks legit too.
I was going to cut it circular to match the original clock frame, but I kinda like it as a square. Now at least I can stand to look at it.

(and notice the time it took...5 minutes).

Amazing! Looks great, I don't think I would have ever come up with an idea like that.
