Since I love when other people do side-by-side comparisons of their kids...

Never once have I ever seen any resemblance in Amaryllis or Kensington. Not even in their gestures or mannerisms or expressions, I've never once caught myself thinking "oh she did that just like Amaryllis used to."
I actually never really noticed what I was missing out on until Maybelle came along.
Maybelle is the perfect mix. She has Amaryllis' coloring and her baby personality and developmental milestones are similar. She has Kensingtons big eyes and so many of her expressions at this age, and her somewhat smiley quiet demure aura remind me baby Kenzibear.
When you edit pictures in Photoshop, you really get to know your subject and especially when I photograph my girls (or anybody else that I do regularly) I get an in-depth look at their features. Maybe some people would think it's weird to zoom in or know someone's face that intimately but I love it, I feel like I know people in a different special way :)
I took the below picture of Peaches last friday and it just stayed with me and sat in the back of my mind.
Like I SWEAR I had edited a photo with that blonde tousled wind blown hair going crazy, and that steely blue eyed gaze staring me down.
Then, today as I looked at my gallery wall, I saw the photo of Amaryllis a few summers ago on the beach.
And duh, that's where I had seen it all--the hair, the eyes, the look.

I cannot believe what a mix between KD and AV Maybelle is! I always thought she looked just like AV until these pictures. I love it. I can never get enough of sibling comparison pics.
And is Maybelle going to be in nursery next month?! I can't believe it. If only crew and her could play together in there, it'd be hilarious.
