All Amaryllis wanted for her birthday was to have a sleepover with Brooklyn at Grandma K's house, and they would bring their dolls and sleep in a tent.
Easy enough!
The girls weekend started at....the YMCA whooohoo!
Party animals!
I got them matching shirts :)
Amaryllis was kind enough to ask if I would like to invite any friends to spend the night.
The moms and the daughters went to lunch while waiting for Miss Kelly.
The playing began while waiting in Kelly's driveway.
Can't stop, won't stop!
We got to Grandma K's and lounged at the pool all afternoon and went to dinner.
She gave Amaryllis some new dressups and cloaks!
They have been worn since then.
Not sure if it counts as a sleepover when your friend bails on you at midnight and sleeps with her mom and sneaks back in at 6am, but I don't think the bday girl even knew :)
Saturday morning, we went out on Bountiful.
Grandpappy: "Wow, we've never had a princess on board!"
She promptly affixed her cloak after her life jacket was on.
There's something relaxing about a boat. I mean, we didn't even go anywhere.
But it's pretty to see things from the water.
And your mind always wanders and you get lost in your own thoughts on the boat.
A quick lunch at the SB Yacht Club--she was more interested in this bad boy on the porch:
Such a fun weekend away.
Oh...and then it was Super Bowl Sunday...
My "healthy" contribution.
The kids emptied the bookshelves for like an hour straight:
Look at these cuties:
And some tea parties this week:
And a first braid:

I want a birthday weekend like that! For my birthday can we go to Grandma K's too? And I am in love with those cloaks, Macey would die to have one of those to run around in.
