There is so much I could say about Amaryllis.
She is wild at heart, creative and imaginative, sees the world with such a unique spyglass.
The other day she said very seriously that she had a question she's been wanting to ask me, for awhile. But she said she just didn't know how to ask it and how to say it.
She then proceeded, with a very complicated, deep train of thought. I was blown away that she could have so much innocence and wisdom already.
It was not a fully formed thought even.
She wanted to know what other people in the world were like, and why does she only hear her own thoughts? How come she doesn't know what other people are thinking/doing?
She was worried that she would never know about other people. Other people in her circle, and other people all around the world.
Probably my favorite thing about her is her great imagination, and the fact that she's such a loving big sister. She is so patient with little Maybelle, and a good little friend to her buddy Kensington.
