Balloons, Karaoke, Cat Fights, and Date Nights

It's the birthday that keeps on going!  Here is a picture of the aftermath, Jake gave her 30 helium balloons and they ended up all getting tangled up together.  They played with them for days!

A cute bday note from our fav babysitter.  She picked up Amaryllis and they went on a bike ride down to Swirl for some frozen yogurt.  So cute:

Our Bishop is pretty popular cuz he hands out candy.
All the kiddos line up and bombard him.

We made friends with the little neighbor girls that share our driveway.  They busted out their karaoke machine and Amaryllis and Kensington were in HEAVEN.

Not pictured: the horrible and embarrassing sister cat fight that broke out over the microphone.

Which led to them being sentenced to their room for a looong time.  I told AV she had to write a list of 20 ways she could be a better sister.  Here's what she came up with:

Date night fun!  Seriously, one for the books--and it wasn't extravagant at all, I don't know why, it was just fun!

The new restaurant was crazy weird yummy sandwiches, and the vibe was relaxed.  You order at the door with a lady on the ipad, then you go get your drinks (homebrew sodas) and chill or play foosball or cornhole outside, and scarf your delicious huge sandwich.

Kensington is enjoying her preschool

While they are waiting for the mom's to pick them up after school, apparently they all decide out their playdate schedule.

So she keeps busy switching between houses, and pretty much every day there are multiple kids shuffling in and out of our house.

I scored some GooGoo Clusters at the dollar store!!!!

Maybelle's first french bread, the little darling!

Having Family Night still often eludes us, we just can't seem to make it happen, but on occasion the stars align:

Kelly has a fancy pants blender, so we been making "Nice Cream" (healthy version of ice cream, and really truly it's delicious) while we watch Downton Abbey if a husband is out of town.
You blend up frozen bananas and add your goodies, and it all gets creamy and yummy.
Here are some options (ours def don't look this decadent!)
