May Flowers

Maybelle always clasps her hands, and Schramma always asks to see picts of it so I've been taking lots of these. Aren't her hands so cute?

Amaryllis has a certain vision about certain things, like crazy hair day:

I feel like I have to tell myself to slow down and hold little peaches.  She's such a good baby that it's easy to plop her down and let a day go by without snuggles, so it's a conscious effort.
But I don't mind one bit :)

Kensington always gets her he/she/his/her mixed up.  She does know the differences between boys and girls but gets the pronouns wrong.  Anyways, she ran in one day saying,
"Mom! He's a girl! Maybelle is a girl! He has eyelashes now!"

She obviously knows Maybelle is a girl and was trying to tell me know she is a grown up girl with eyelashes, but it just sounded funny with the He thrown in there.

I've said it twice, but let's make it three times:
THIS IS MY FAVORITE STAGE OF MOTHERHOOD.
The 5-9 month age.
They are so content and just sit there and don't know about exploring/crawling yet.
And they just light up when anybody plays with them. Love it.

So I got these new lounge pants at H&M and Jake, who never really notices or makes comments on any kind of fashion or clothes, was a little skeptical about the pegged ankle look.   He kept asking "are those in style or just comfy?" haha. Also if you don't have any Sanuk Sidewalk Surfers run and get some, they are sooo comfy.  But get them tight because they stretch just a bit.

From Nanny Melly:
Poor bunny.  Never stood a chance.

Can't stop laughing at her official school pict.  I did not know it was pict day.  And how much photoshop air brushing was involved for all her flyaway hairs I wonder?

Reminds me of this other time I wasn't home to supervise picture day outfits.

Super heroes.  I nice change from all the Frozen dressups.

Peaches first time riding in the buggy like a big girl! I think I may have jumped the gun a bit, she's not quite ready and I almost lost her down the aisle a few times:

A picture showcasing the difference between Amaryllis's posing, and Kensingtons fashion poses:
Gym every morning keeps us sane.

And so does the pool :)

(Kensington and her friend, back to back, trying to prove who is taller)

As well as date nights.

 And friends.

It is a pretty place we live in :)
