She's A Walkin'

I am making a video of my Disney trip so this post will have to suffice for now.  I know everyone is just on the edge of their seats, I'm sure.  But this still counts as chronologically legitimate because, while I was away galavanting in a fake world, that is when my little Kenzibear decided to take her first steps.  No fair!  Every mom's worst fear!  In my mind it doesn't count and it never happened.  Every time Jake would text me pictures I would reply "push her down until I get home".

So as of this week, I would say that Kensington is officially a walker and every day the choice between stumbling walking versus rapid crawling becomes faded.  She is getting more and more confident on her 2 chubby legs.  Yesterday, Jake and I both noticed that we saw more walking than crawling. 

I am sad about this.

Walking is such a big milestone.  It signifies the end of babyhood and the beginning of your little toddler.

Anyways.  I had to take picts of this purple romper for my website, www.babylacerompers.com (did I tell you that the past few months I have been an importer/exporter?  It's pretty funny.  It started out as a "what if" and here we are.  If you have read The Four Hour Work Week by Tim Ferriss, that is what we did.  When I bought the original, I couldn't believe how hard it was to find and how expensive it was.  And how much profit the gal was making on each one via Etsy.  So I setup a mock website and google ad campaign to see if there were any hits, found a new China friend named Dora who sews them, and voila now I have a "boutique" as I like to call it.  I mostly sell to photographers.  If you need one, I'm as cheap as you'll find online!)
