Since we live really close to the state Fairgrounds, we're always stopping by to see what random things are going on (and I mean random...they have everything from antique shows, to roller derbies, to tractor pulls, concerts, gun shows, etc.) On Saturday, my friend Heidi and I went to the Agriculture fair. Amaryllis had fun people-watching. These days, she is never with out a doll.
Amaryllis was sporting this ponytail. In the bathtub the other day, I molded her hair into pigtails...it's only a matter of time...I can't wait!
When I picked Heidi up, we both stared at eachother and started laughing. We were wearing almost the EXACT same thing.
Ok, for the next 2 photos, here is something I learned in photoshop. The rubber stamp. Here is a before/after. Notice the dude above Heidi's head?
This is a huge grocery cart. I think it is drivable--see the steering wheel?

It was somewhat difficult and I was totally learning as I went. I also played with the marquis tool and lightened our faces underneath our hats.
They have a cool waterfall on the fairgrounds. I saw some lady fall in (she was trying to sit on the edge) and her purse got dumped in there. Everyone tried to look away so she wouldn't feel awkward.

(She also found the banana bowl and helped herself).
This is her face when Jake started vacuuming. She freezes and cries, and is paralyzed with fear.

That's cute that you and Heidi have matching hats :)
That shopping cart does drive! They have it at the Durham Bulls games and drive it around the bases in between innings. Love that shopping cart. I think I have some pictures of it too...somewhere.
I can't believe you took her out in public w/ her hair like that! Why have you succumbed to the peer pressure of other moms? They might tell you it looks cute, but it's only because it makes their kids look cuter. :) What else has changed? Are we still bff's?
Her hair is getting so long! But I have to say, she is taking after her Auntie and rockin the baby mullet in those last pics! Ahaha!
Guys, I can't cut the mullet. I just can't! I had scissors and everything, but I couldn't do it. Laugh and jeer all you want, but it will have to wait until I can pull myself together.
It's okay em....I can't bring myself to cut charley's hair either....she has this random strand of hair that is super long and looks outta place...i guess it is a good thing that she has curly hair to hid it a little.
I have an apron just like that!! only it says susan and not emily. Did your mom make mine too?
I need to get me one of them giant carts! That is hilarious! You are so good with photoshop! I need to learn...
