It's funny to watch Amaryllis with anything new. With everything in her life thus far, she pretty much goes through a 3 step routine:
1. Discovering the item,
2. Closely examining it,
And then an immediate & mandatory taste test concludes the operation.
Amaryllis has been wanting to hold this rose since the day I got it on Mother's Day.
Finally, on the flower's last day of life, I gave in and let her play with it.
By the time she was done, it was quite mutilated.
(I'm not sure how many petals she actually swallowed)
Here's the funniest picture. If only it was a cookie in her hand instead of a flower--this would make it the perfect "guilty" photo.

It's so cute to watch little ones discovering something new. I just wish it didn't end with tasting it. Most times I cringe at all the germs they eat.
I love her adventurous side and the pictures and that dress and the color accents,.. lovely. :)
