The Bartlett Belle's Birthday Ball

I decided to do a joint birthday party for the girls this year, since they both like the same things and have the same friends.

It was really low key, would've been even lower key if the weather would've cooperated, but we ended up having it inside and it was still fun.

It's so funny, all these super duper elaborate parties for kids on Pinterest and kids really could care less and are happy with dancing around and eating some out-of-the-ordinary sugary treat.

You know me, quite the baker so we had a fine selection of Little Debbie snacks, pretzel dips, and skewered grapes (which I told the girls they were magical grapes and they were pretty amazed!).

And Grandma K brought some fantastic sugar cookies.

(side note: I didn't take many picts at the party, so that's why you get picts of my awesome store bought food, haha).

We brought the toys downstairs so as to contain the chaos to 1 room.  Amaryllis busied herself all morning and set up the toys.  It was cute.

She also helped with the party favors.  Easy peasy.

The girls ate, danced, played Pin the Tiara on the Princess, and I read them a cool Cinderella pop-up book which they loved.

At the end of the afternoon, she flops down on the couch, all tuckered out.

When I was taking this pict I immediately recalled how I took this exact pict at the end of her 3 yr old bday party. My my how she's grown:

The girls ball gowns were adorable, and we're going to prance around later this week and get some picts in them so coming soon to a blog near you...

Are those chocolate dipped marshmallow wands? Those would be Macey's favorite treat to make. Love them on the colored straws!

What a lovely ball! Can't believe they all sat around that blanket eating. Did it really stay that contained?

Love little kid birthday's, they are so easy to please!
