This is Amaryllis waiting for my parents to arrive last month for a visit, she was very excited and sat there forever.
They drove here from NC after a stop in Utah, then continued on to visit family in AZ, NM, and TX. What a trip, they are road warriors!
My grandpa (my mom's dad) is alone since my grandma passed away, and so in order for him to have connection and correspondence from the extended family, everyone is "birding" this year since that's his favorite hobby. So when you see a cool bird you look it up and report to the family FB group page. Cute idea huh? My dad brought his binoculars and many a birds were spotted.
I came home and found him like this. Dr. Amaryllis was tending to him and Kensington assisted in the bandaid department. He said Amaryllis has very good bedside manner and calmly told him things like "this is going to hurt really bad" kind of thing. Gotta love Doc McStuffins on the free Disney app :)
