So when in years to come, my house is still-

Somehow in an unplanned way, we all ended up in coordinating black/white outfits yesterday for church. Oh yeah, we're that awesome family.

As you can see by these faces, I busted out the treats in an attempt to get them to stand still for all of 5 seconds.  Kensington's eyes go huge with anticipation.  Amaryllis does her happy-food dance.

Kensington has the best Gimme-Them-Treats-Or-Else-I'll-Explode face where sugar is concerned:

Lately they love to be weird and come up with their own poses.

Then I say, "no just smile like regular normal humans". And I get the fake horrible say-cheese.
So I actually prefer the weirdness over the cheesiness.

But every once in awhile...

... I see normal human girls.  I catch a glimpse of what they might possibly look like as teenagers or, heaven forbid, adults.

And I close my eyes and pray REAL hard that I'm soaking up the fun, quarky, non-scheduled, lazy, hectic, chaoticness that my days are filled with.
And that I'll never look back with regrets.

I guess it's been on my mind a lot lately.  Every week I change out my iPhone home screen photo with some sort of pick-me-up-cheesy-pinterest quote.  Here was last weeks:

Go take fun pictures of your little ones and enjoy the silliness.

ok, love that their outfits were unplanned.

And as corny as it is, I love your quote idea. i should do that, it's always good to have a reminder to soak up the craziness that is our current lives right now. Especially when Miles just knocked over a display at a store or just covered himself in mud or threw something at Macey or…. You get the idea. :)
