Kensington had her first peaches.
You would think she'd love them, being a southern girl and me being a peach lover to the max...

All I can say is:
It was a California peach.

(There is an ongoing annual summer debate at the Manor concerning east coast vs west coast peaches. Although I'm not sure why, as it has been clearly and repeatedly agreed upon that there is nothing in the world sweeter than a fresh homegrown southern peach straight from the orchard).
PS: While on the topic of my devastating computer malfunction---Something else you should backup are your browser bookmarks. You know all those cute websites and blogs you stalk? The ones you bookmark in hopes you'll come back and watch the tutorial and make that craft or buy that outfit? Well, all those bookmarks can be gone like [snap] that. To backup ( in your browser up there ^) simply go to Bookmarks, Organize Bookmarks, Export to html. Save that little file wherever you save your other important stuff.

hmmm. Interesting. Here in Iowa I definately prefer the California peaches, but maybe it's because they have slightly less distance to travel?
Wow...that face is priceless. I would agree, Southern peaches win hands down. Hello, there is a reason why Georgia is "the peach state" and California is not.
Gotta say I was surprised to be disappointed by Georgia peaches. I'm a west coast peach fan myself. They definitely taste different.
