Blogging here from Utah. The girls are sleeping, Jake is gaming it up with his brothers, and I'm chilling at comfy cozy Aunt K's house.

Looked through my phone picts and even though this is only our 2nd day here, I can already tell I'll have WAY too many photos to share. So thought I'd throw up a few because it is

to watch Amaryllis interact with all her little Utah friends/cousins.

Of course, as I'm sure all of you are just dying to know, the Kelmily gene is bred into our daughters and Maceyllis will terrorize BYU campus in about 18 years.

I'm pretty sure Macey was telling Amaryllis that she isn't doing it right.

Kelsey and I love watching them play and then when they do something funny/sweet/evil to eachother, we look over their heads and grin--
--and there's sort of an unspoken understanding that what the smile really says is "isn't it so awesome our girls are playing together and it's like what we always dreamed of in college about how we swore we'd be friends forever and live across the street and have fun all day long whilst eating bon bons and playing".

Yesterday we went to Farm Country with Macey and cousin Charley.

Today, we had a Southridge roommate reunion. Can you believe between the 4 of us roomies we have NINE kids and one in the oven.

Of course my child is off by her lonesome self instead of running wild with the other kids.

It was a gorgeous day and we just sat out on the lawn and watched the kiddos do laps around the courtyard and chatted like old times.

Amaryllis was too busy playing with this Dora house to join in with the other kids on their bikes.

Sigh. Oh my. Being here sure does bring back the memories of crazy college days and old friends and how I never thought I'd be back with 2 babies in tow. How is it I still feel like I'm 20 and chillin with my roommates?


Kelfo posted some "Then & Now" picts on her blog of us 10 yrs ago in our matching jammie pants, half-ready for church, and at our annual midnight picnic. And now, fast forward a decade, and here we are with all our rugrats!
And, if you live in the South right now, you will probably agree with me that it is so NICE to be able to stand outside in June and not be dripping in sweat. Today in Utah it was 71 degrees. There's snow on the mountains. And Amaryllis woke up and asked for her coat and wore it around the house with the hoodie on. Whats up with that?
