Amaryllis was wearing her fairy wings yesterday, and her neighbor boy came to play. He showed up in his cowboy hat. Love their boy/girl accessory choice.

This week I weaned Kensington. If you know me, you know I'm a passionate supporter of the benefits of breastfeeding (due to my work with www.hmbana.org). I'm on an antibiotic that I couldn't breastfeed with, so I'm sad I had to wean early. We both cried but we made it through and she is a formula baby now.

I know that must be tough having to wean her early. At least she got a couple of months.

haha! that last pic of av is hilarious! And owen looks SO big! And KZ looks like a doll still! I'm glad she'll take a bottle now... And just look at it this way- you get your body back to yourself EARLY! Wahoo!!!
so....we have those same wings.....sun glasses....and hair bow!!! the little cousins think alike!
I weaned Asher at 11 months, and I've been thinking about it with Gwen. She is not quite 7 months old, but I am so sick of being fat!! (I'm one of those lucky moms that cannot lose weight until I'm done nursing.) How selfish is that?
PS Asher would love that hat. And I think he and Amaryllis would be good friends. :)
