We had tons of fun in Maui with some friends.
My parents stayed with the girls back home, so I didn't worry one little bit about what was going on with the girls.
It's been so long since I've had 5 days in a row to not have parental responsibilities and could just focus on Jake. We need to escape more often!
The last time I went to Maui I was pregnant with Amaryllis and had some major morning sickness (and I didn't really know that's what it was) so this was a fun do-over trip :)
Probably my favorite things were:
The sunrise over the volcano followed by an awesome morning of downhill fast biking!
Soooo much good food.
Shave ice!
Hanging with Jake and our friends by the pool and our luxurious hotel was pretty sweet.
That time I was on the balcony around the corner in a lounge chair and I fell asleep and SOMEBODY locked me out of the balcony door so I had to yell down to the pool so they could send a bell hop up to unlock the door. Only to find Jake and the Steeles were inside sleeping and apparently didn't hear my pounding.
