Can I fit all of November in 1 post? Let's try.
Amaryllis planned and prepared a family night lesson on being thankful:
We've had many a ragamuffin day. I try and get to the gym by 8am or else it just doesn't happen.
Kensington got sick. I know, right? My kids NEVER sleep out in the open.
Amaryllis is still so smitten with Maybelle. She always wants her in the morning, and at night before bed:
I sprayed my pumpkins gold. Amaryllis told me that was a good way to recycle them. I've been amazed at what she learns.
Remember this elephant costume? Kinda little now maybe?
More beach days. It gets dark by 4:45, so it's been fun being out at sunset.
Maybelle started smiling. It's so beyond cute.
And she's awake more. Here's her first time hanging out with the big girls on the floor:
Kensington and I visited daddy at work:
Then Kensington got her hair chopped off!
Jake and I went to Vegas, and left the kids at the grandparents. We had so much fun, as noted by the 2 photos we took the entire time.
(Kensington got an ear ache while at the grandparents. And barfed in their car. And had explosive ddawg. I wonder if grandma will ever want to watch them again?)
Amaryllis is funny about this shelf in her room. She always rearranges it with her "special" things. I like to look at it every now and then, and it always makes me smile.
"Is that really her life? Listening to classical music on the couch while her girls dance?"
Yes. On certain days it is.
Our friends threw a slammin party, and the kids were invited. They pretty much trashed her house but she is the type that doesn't care (mad respect for those types. It just isn't me though.)
The family room was all black light, with dance music, and
wow--Kensington has got some moves! We need to mix up the ballet classical princess stuff with some more hip hop, cuz that's her jam.
She seriously danced all night long.
Still loving the weather here.
Here's Maybelle, wearing my dress that I was blessed in.
I keep a makeup brush kit in my bathroom, for the girls, in case they get the desire to primp, which they often do. No makeup or anything, just plain brushes. So funny to walk in and see Amaryllis perched on my tub.
Dear Santa Clause, I want slippers. Kit Kittredge. Bed. Matching clothes. Ballet clothes dress. Alarm Clock.
On this day, Kensington had 2 little dudes over, and they played ponies for an hour straight. When I came in they said all excited, "Look! It's pony Target!"
On Saturdays and Sundays, I've discovered I can deposit Maybelle in her big sister's room for an extra hour of sleep for me!
Thanksgiving was small this year, just us and Auntie Meghan home from BYU, and the grandparents. Amaryllis asked to use my big camera and practice her photography.

I can't believe how big Kensington is getting! And so sassy and fun! Please link a video of her hip hop moves!
