We had our annual playdate on the lawn.

Another beautiful day, another chance to see how big the kids are and reflect "remember last year when so-and-so was here" or "didn't big brother wear that costume 2 yrs ago?".

My my my. Such annual parties really make me marvel at how fast time flies.

Friends come and go, kids get older, babies are born, preggy friends, post-preggy friends, on and on. As Jake would say, "the wheel of time turns, and ages come & pass..." (some 12 book series he's reading and he keeps quoting that first line of every book).

I have to make a disclaimer that the cute monster cupcakes were not made by me. Not that any of you were fooled for one second!

Sadly, a handful of kids had already left before we could get a good group shot. Surprisingly, there wasn't too much crying this time around.

I was glad when my friend April showed up since I was the only adult somewhat dressed up. In my hawaiian mooo-moo, I wear it any chance it is socially acceptable. Anyways, we all cheered when April got out of the car because 1) she showed up with her 3 kids after just birthing sweet Cherry 3 wks ago and 2) because she jumped out of the car with this gettup on:)

THE END
(heee heee, get it?)

Love that you wore your Mooo-Moo. And I don't know April, but I'm pretty sure I'd like her. I would of totally dressed up for your party, maybe next year.
I absolutely love that Amaryllis is dressed up as an elephant, and that you posted that top group picture where she wasn't even looking, but I still knew it was her because who else would be an elephant for Halloween? Cute, cute!
Also, so funny about the moo-moo.
I can't decide which is cuter - The kids, or those cupcakes! I also can't deny that I need to be friends with April.
So sad we missed the party! Those cupcakes are AWESOME!! The kids all look soo adorable in their costumes. I only have one question, where are the pictures of you with your moomoo?
