More Lace

Wow, look at me blogging so much lately after a bit of a blog drought.

We had to take picts of some lace leggings and petti pants so thought I'd share. 

My mom and I made a new tent cover for the girls' tent---isn't it so cute?

I find it amusing that the girls are so motivated by treats.  Notice Kensington is salivating in anticipation:

Literally no sooner than we had buckled up and shut the doors, it started raining.



  Now it's cooler outside, and I'm realizing Amaryllis has 2 long sleeve shirts and 0 pants for this winter.  I hate when I don't buy ahead!



They have been playing together so well the past few weeks.  Don't get me wrong, we have our moments when I wonder if Kensington is still alive or has been squashed to death by Amaryllis, but at least they like each other right?

 

Kensington is maturing so quick.  It seems like every day she learns something new or wants to do something on her own, or is trying to say words that I can't figure out.

And as for Amaryllis, well--it's quite entertaining to hear all the extra words/adjectives/phrases in her vocabulary now.  Jake keeps pointing out that she has a southern drawl (I don't really hear it, but he does):
"actually I don't think so"
or "kenzibear! honey, you really shouldn't do that mmmk sweetie?"
or my favorite: "oh. welllll fine mom. whatever. I guess it's your turn to decide."


Oh and duh, forgot to officially post about our potential move to CA when/if our house sells.  Fingers crossed.  We're excited for the change--except we'll miss our friends and especially Schramma and Schrammpa being so close, and the beach house.  But at least there is a 4 hr direct flight from Charlotte to LAX, right mom? :)
