We are home for 1 day before going on the rode again. It has been a fun 2 weeks out west. I'll try to blog all about it later when we return from the beach, but honestly it's all a blur!
Speaking of blurs, I took advantage of the beautiful weather in Santa Barbara and took some pictures of the girls. I haven't gone through them yet, but sometimes my favorites end up being my "test" shots when I'm trying to get my settings right.
Like this one is cool, it came straight off the camera like this:
(It's actually me leaping up quickly, trying to prevent Amaryllis from mauling her little sis).
I'll post more from that photoshoot later. But here was the bribe (I have to bribe Amaryllis to behave during pictures--it works, you should try it). The bribe was...a new Snow White dressup costume.
She was in heaven. I watched her run all around the yard, reenacting the movie. She made sure to look behind her as she ran at the awesome red cape flapping in the wind. I couldn't get my shutter speed right because she was running on high speed one minute, then collapsing dead the next minute from a poisonous apple.
