We are finally back from our journeys. Phew.
A buyer from the children/mommy deals website Zulily asked if I would like to feature my rompers...I was like sure, why not. I thought it would be fun to do something new and I didn't expect to sell more than a hundred or so (which is what they sold on VeryJane.com).
The sale was bumped up by a week (right in the middle of our vacation) and they were a SMASHING HIT and totally shocked/exceeded both of our expectations. We sold about 2100 rompers in 3 days.
So it was a bit hectic for me. There was paperwork, ad copy, photos, agreements, pricing schemes, etc to figure out but it was fun and I forgot how much I missed the marketing part of my job. It's very self satisfying and empowering to create something from nothing, ya know? Anyways, the sale did so well we setup a few more dates so we'll see what it brings.
I have so much to do and this morning, just to add to my burdens, I woke up and totally wrenched my neck and it hurts like Hades.
These photos didn't make the cut on Funfetti so I thought I'd share. I made 2 of these cute little banners (1 for me and 1 for Kelsey's bday) and they really add some cheer to your home. Please clap 3 times for me since I actually finished a craft project. I have it hanging up in the dining room and Amaryllis thinks we are having a party every day
It was SO nice not to be in the hot humid South for the month of July. It has been a record breaking heat wave of 100 degrees which feels like 110 with the humidity. Yuck.
Even though the girls may not look alike, they share some mannerisms in this photo:

Santa Barbara was really fun and as always the Bartletts were great hosts. In Utah, Aunt K was quite the hostess as well. Jake's brothers wedding was beautiful, I hung out with roommies which is always a pleasure, the flights went well for the most part, Kensington is down to 1 nap even though I don't think she's quite ready, Amaryllis is as intense and dramatic as always, the week at the Lucky Leaf for family reunion was a blast (more later) and yeah I think that is our last 3 weeks wrapped up in 1 breath. Honestly I can't really remember what all went on, but it was fun to see so much family.
