Well it has been awhile for this blog to get some lovin.
The most exciting news was switching Kensington into her big girl, forward facing carseat. Now she can be part of our car social circle instead of staring at the headrest.
Here are her first and second car trip photos. Now I have even more opportunities to look at her all day! Well, really she hardly ever goes out with me (she naps in the morning and stays home with Jake while I do errands or whatever). So these have been her 2 total car trips so far. Sad. She's like a recluse.
Oh, also that is CarBaby. She's so dirty because she's the baby that is allowed to go down the slides at the park and everywhere else that's gross (like the mall). I put her there--Kensington isn't really into dolls or babies like Amaryllis was at this age.
Today she had her first ponytail. It is already thicker than her big sister's ponytails. One of these days I'll do the token "whale spout" for you guys.
Below is her first time in the dryer. I guess this is a joke picture, because I put her in the dryer. Sometimes I see snapshots of other people's kids in the pantry, or in the cupboard, or in some random place. My kids just aren't climbers and I've never found them in a weird spot. Actually they aren't really even very nosy--I don't have babylocks or anything. I guess I just have boring cupboards.
Amaryllis wanted to stay in her pajamas all day on Sunday. Here she is "working" with her hammer.
She was Jake's little buddy all day, as you can see by her looking under the bathroom door to see what he's doing and chattering non stop. "you going potty daddy? I see your toes. Is you done peeing? You has to go poop now? What you doin?"
Still waiting...
Finally, soccer time! She pretty much begs all day for someone to play catch or play soccer with her. Usually in the house, but when it's nice out we have to take advantage of our awesome lush grass (the right side weeds is our lawn, the left green stuff is the neighbors)
Did I share this photo yet? This is Amaryllis with her eyes glued to Little Mermaid. She is brushing her hair. Notice the squirt bottle and the wet hair, because "it's the ocean, mom". Like duhhhh.

ha ha! I love the fork in her hair. :)
KD is looking so cute and big! I swear she is bigger than Miles now, well not the head though. :) And seriously she's only been out w/ you 2x! Poor child, you are turning her into a recluse.
AV laying outside the bathroom door cracks me up. I don't remember the last time I went to the bathroom in peace.
I love the fork in the hair, cute!
This whole entire post is awesome. It gave me a perma-grin of amusement.
