Amaryllis has been working very hard on keeping her pull-up dry during naptime. She was potty trained at 22 months, so it was a bit young for her to hold it during nap/night. Fast forward to now, and I know there is no reason for her to still be wetting during nap. Therefore I put my foot down and it's taken her about a week.
She has also been learning the concept of "earning" instead of total instant gratification. I told her when she could stay dry during nap for a lot of days, then she could have a special party.
Today when I asked her what kind of party (elephant party? no. tea party? no. princess party? no fank you.) and she said FAIRY PARTY MOM, AND I'LL HAVE WINGS. Jake just got her the Tinkerbell movies so I think that's what all the fascination is about fairies.
So consider yourself invited to our Fairy party. Why should we wait until next Halloween for another excuse to have a lawn party?
ps: now I need to think of a good bribe for her thumbsucking and night time wetting, but I'm thinking those will come later in life.

Yay!! I love the party idea. I cannot wait to see the pictures, you always have the best lawn parties.
Macey gets bunk beds when she can finally keep her pull up dry at night. She's almost there, she just can't keep in dry on Saturday mornings and for some reason when we have babysitters. Little does she know we were going to get them bunk beds anyways. :)
What a fun idea! Maybe I should do something like this... James has been potty trained for a while and suddenly started wetting the bed at night! I don't know what happened!
And if you figure out the thumb sucking thing let me know. I'm hoping that starting school will put an end to it... but we shall see.
