Utah Baby

Pop Quiz: In which insanely crafty state would someone take a plain white onsie, add tons of bright ribbons, ruffles, and bows then sell it at a place called The Quilted Bear?

Ok, so first of all Grandma K purchased this outfit (and another one that is pink/black polka dots...bet you can't wait for that huh?) and if you have ever been shopping with either Bartlett grandparent it is just easier to give in. I'm pretty sure while us women were browsing, Grandpappy was "babysitting" Amaryllis--which means she ran around the store loading up her arms with ponies and elephant toys and they headed to the checkout counter (where he loaded his pockets with Starbursts, most likely.)

Amongst all the other craftiness at that store (it is a warehouse of sorts, with tons of booths of homemade crafts most of which fall into the tutu-bow-ruffle-jewelry categories), this outfit looked quite baby-cute on the hanger.

Then when I put it on I just couldn't stop laughing.

As Schramma said "she looks like a present!".

Anyways, thought I'd snap a pict since I'm not sure how it will hold up in the wash. And yes, she totally spit up on it within the first 3 minutes.

PS: I'm mostly in love with the argyle socks. For presh!

You just reminded me why I never venture into that store. :)

I also saw some matching long silky/lace "prairie" nightgowns. One for you, and one Macey's size.
