Tour De Weddings: Stop 2

Charlene's Wedding
Salt Lake City, Utah

Highlights & Picts From Our Trip
-We originally planned on staying with my BFF, Kelsey. But her and Macey brought home "the aids" (as the boys were calling it. It was really the stomach flu.) from their trip back home to Washington. So we stayed with Ben, Meredith, Charley, and newborn Gabby.

-I'm thankful we didn't get The Aids and have a repeat flight home of our Christmas trip, but sad I only saw her 3 times (yes I counted). Pregnant.

-But from what we saw, it was determined Macey and Amaryllis are kindred spirits.

-We had a Family Night and we were all together for the first time in a few years, and all the cousins finally got to meet each other.

-I went to a Usborne book party hosted by my old roommate Michelle (educational children's books) and it was really fun, so I'm going to host one here in Raleigh. So all you Raleigh friends watch for an invitation within the next few months!
-I don't know how to describe Amaryllis on this leg of the trip. Other than exhausted, moody, clingy, some stranger anxiety problems, and an all out monster at times. We saw this face a lot:

-This picture pretty much sums up Amaryllis & Charley's behavior all week. Poor Charley was so sweet, but Amaryllis just wasn't in the mood to hug, hold hands, or play nicely.
-These are some of my freshman roommies. With Megan and Steph (not pictured), we have about 10 kids between all of us, and more cooking in the oven! Can't wait for summer of 2012 ladies...when we celebrate turning 30 (I think that's what we decided, right?).
-I had so many plans of taking cool pictures of Char & Jared, but alas...Amaryllis couldn't bare to be separated from me (see below picture of her mid-fall while lunging for me).

-But I did snap this photo of Char. She was a bootiful bride.
-Char & Jared were married in the Salt Lake City Temple. In the LDS religion, you are not married "until death do you part" but rather you are sealed for "time & all eternity" for this life and the next life. We believe that families are forever and that's why they are so important to us. I had never been inside this temple, and it is so beautiful. Click here to learn why Mormon's build temples. For more info about our church, please only visit www.lds.org or www.mormon.org. All other sites are not sponsored by the church and could provide misleading information.

-We introduced Amaryllis to a lifetime of fun at Chuck-E-Cheese. I'm totally going back. I always thought you had to pay an admission fee but you don't. She can just sit in the rides without even using a token and be content. Air conditioned, contained play area, pizza...what more could a stay at home mom ask for?
-And here is a Schramm Christmas Card Wedding Original photo. We do it to the photographer every time.
-Amaryllis can pretend to be so pious...
...But don't be fooled.

-And you'll be pleased to know that grace from above was showered upon us during our return flight home. Amaryllis was an angel even though the flight was 8pm-midnight. We made it!

Love the pics!

I am so sad I didn't get to play with AV more, but from what I saw of her I think she's pretty dang cute! I can tell Macey misses her bff already, because today she fixed her pigtails so they looked just like AV's.

Beautiful pictures. Hopefully now that you're home Amarylis will be her normal self. Traveling can be really hard at that age.

Hurray! I was waiting for photos from the weddings. Everyone looks great and you and the fam look so beautiful too! Love the teal dress :)

Traveling with 2 kids in 2012 will prove to be another feat!

Brooke has made the same "I hate mustard, get it off my tongue face." She tried it once at Costco with a hot dog.
