My Fav Little Shack of a Cottage

So, for those of you who care, remember this blog post about my little cottage in downtown Cary? The one that is all rambshackled and that I totally wanted to buy and re-do? Awesome location, tons of potential, next to the library and old churches, etc.

Well...

(I wish I could tell you I had enough capital and guts to buy it and fix it up, but sorry).

I was driving by the other day and waboom! Someone has bought it, fixed it up, painted it a pretty shade of periwinkle/lavendar, and it is called the "Bridal Salon". I'm not sure if it will be a store or a reception center. I think it would make a lovely reception center (sort of like the Matthews House) if they did the landscaping right.
I am glad they left the lovely big shady tree in the front and the wrap around porch.

I suppose I'll have to find another cottage to renovate in my mind...
