Tour De Weddings: Stop 1

Bartlett Wedding
The beautiful Casa del Mar on the Santa Monica Pier.
Seriously, this is the place to stay if you want to be in the scene. Step outside of the back door and land in the sand on the famous Muscle Beach, where we watched the crazys workout on the monkey bars, rings, sand volleyball, all the variety of dog walkers, the jogging clubs and their matching shirts (jogging so close together 2 ladies totally tripped on eachother and ate it), etc.
A Few Highlights & Points of Interest
-The hotel was really swanky and Amaryllis got the bathroom all to herself.

-There were swings right outside of the hotel on the beach, so she could swing to her hearts content.
-We went with the lovely bride for a pedicure (yes, they had to bust out the cheese grater for my feet).

-The Bartlett Heiress was spoiled by old man Grandpappy B (first thing he did when he saw her at the airport was pull out some fruit snacks from his pocket and said "want to come see me?").
-It was cold (65 degrees) and us Southerners done forgot our jackets.

-The LA Temple, where Jim & Karen were married, is super beautiful. The ceremony was even more beautiful.
-The original Hotdog On A Stick stand was right by the hotel. Best corndog I've ever had, and I'm not a hotdog gal.
-Jake got a new suit and he looks like a stud.
-I know, how lame am I to not have a picture of the Bride & Groom? Well I was busy chasing after an insanely tired little girl and keeping her from crunching all the flowers in sight. If I come across a picture (ahem, Meghan) then I will post it here. They looked radiant.

I'm jealous. My parents were there, but not me.
