We've been crazy busy recently. I just downloaded all my phone pictures and it was fun to look at all the good times....Jake surfed it up in Hawaii.
He brought me a plumeria themed collection of presents, one of which was a real live fresh plumeria lei that smelled so yummy and reminded me of my semester over there (where they grew on a tree outside our house and the driveway was littered with them).
Amaryllis loves hats and always wants to take mine. When she wears it, she walks very slow & carefully while trying to look up at it.
She has some new responsiblities around the house. When we get home I tell her to "go do your chore" and she goes in the laundry room to let Cricket out of her crate. That is chore #1.
This is chore #2.
She takes after her daddy and joins in the Bartlett family tradition of eating hotdogs on Sunday. Except we may have to stop bringing them to church because when first opened they let out a wiff and everyone starts looking around sniffing...does it smell like hotdogs?
Speaking of Cricket, she is still following Amaryllis around everywhere, all day, 24/7, seven days a week. 
Daddy Read Me a Story...I thought the below photo was cute. Good thing we bought a high table because she is turning into a tall stringbean.
I've had to sew up this pink puppy a couple times. Somehow, despite me trying to prevent her from getting attached to anything, she is inseparable with this stuffed animal at night.
...and the puppy debuted outside of the crib during Stomach Flu Week--the only time Amaryllis will lay still and cuddle.

We tried on some sweet sunglasses at Forever 21.
This month Amaryllis graduated to a forward facing carseat. Wow this blog post just keeps getting more and more exciting.
Jake emailed me the below picture and titled it "The Many Shades of Bob Ross".
We put a gate on our back deck so that now Amaryllis and Cricket can play out there freely. I like to spy on her and see what she's doing. Here she is playing with some random items stolen from the kitchen (notice the trend...she steals things with lids...on, off, on, off, on, off)

Charley only sits still and lets me cuddle with her when she is sick too...the only reason I like her being sick!

Okay, that is the PERFECT carseat for your little girl! Is that REAL cowskin? haha they have that a lot around here...w/ the hair and everything... on barstools especially. yuck!
