Daffodilly-yo

Amaryllis likes to look out the windows by our front door and, when the daffodils first bloomed, she kept pointing to them so I took her out one morning. Now whenever she passes the window she wants to go out. Grrrreat.
Before you are too impressed with my blooming garden, just know that I planted these daffodil bulbs 3 years ago when we moved in---back when I was gung-ho about being a homeowner!
Amaryllis learned how to smell flowers. It's pretty cute. For some reason, she can't smell without opening her mouth and just can't resist trying to grab a little taste with the tongue.
Here is a video of her expanding animal vocabulary. We're on Frog now. Today she started pointing and saying "blue, yellow, and purple" in her color book. I think she just has the order memorized but I will tell myself she is truly brilliant due to the fish-oil I took my last trimester and while breastfeeding :)

I love your pictures! You all take some great ones. I need to get some tips. I can't believe how fast these babies grow.
