Sunny Santa Barbara - Memorial Weekend

We had a fun visit with the California Bartletts. A few highlights were going to Solvang, visiting the Santa Barbara Zoo, looking at all the cool chalk art for the Madonnari Festival at the Santa Barbara Mission, walking through the beautiful rose garden where Jake proposed 5 years ago, and celebrating Memorial Day with carrot cake for Grandpappy B's birthday! Also, the boys did a lot of surfing and the gals did a lot of shopping. It was fun taking picts.

Chalk Art & Roses
Here is the chalk art festival and rose garden. The art was amazing. I especially liked to watch them work on it (you can see in the picture the woman is holding a picture of her art while coloring).
Patriotic Baby
And here is our festive little Memorial Day flag! Isn't the outfit hilarious? I couldn't resist since it was $3.80 at Kohl's.
Spoiled Rotten
And of course, this little piggy was spoiled by all the lovin and attention. But she sure did have fun!

How fun!...with all those artistic pictures of Amaryllis, you should consider the baby photography market? you would be HUGE! just something to think about!

Are you guys back yet? How did the baby do on the flight?

We love Santa Barbara. That's where we went on our honeymoon. The art festival is fun. Fiesta days is another fun festival in Santa Barbara. We're going camping for a week this summer just north of there. We can't wait. Those pictures of Amaryllis are really cute. Good job Sugalipz!
