This is the "it" house of the neighborhood.
You know...every neighborhood has one of those holiday houses...
We've taken many a nightly walk down the street to sit and stare.
Other things that we have been up to:
Playdates
Hervey the Elf
Wendy's has $2 kids meals. Yes, you're welcome.
The kids were playing "hunters and gatherers" and had a feast at the park.
Maybelle got her first black eye.
Amaryllis smacked her down on the bike and ran over her face with her tire.
It's amazing these little bodies, it healed SO quickly.
Homemade hot chocolate, mmmmm.
Playing with different ponytails at the gym. My hair is getting super long and a regular ponytail just don't cut it during a hard workout, it all flops around and whips me in the face, so I need the second ponytail down below. It's a thing.
My twist gone wrong, then gone right.
Kensington and her little buddies. She's just like Amaryllis--she'd rather play with the boys at school. Seems so funny to me because they are such girly girls, but I guess that's why they like them boys!
Playdate at the Bells.
We went to get donuts and ended up road blocked from the Camarillo Christmas Parade which was hilarious, it was SO small town, small peanuts, rinky dink. It was cute actually. Part of Camarillo's charm is that it is still that small town feeling, even though it's right outside LA.
B and A had their FIRST real sleepover. We aren't technically doing the "sleep over thing" but due to some miscommunication and a parental error, it worked out in their favor on this particular night.
They were absolutely giddy in the car when they realized their dreams would come true. Oh geeze and did I mention they giggled ALL night and woke up super early giggling and then Amaryllis was completely grumpypants the next 2 days (yes, and I'm so glad sleepovers aren't a regular thing!)
Maybelle loves nursery!
For activity days we cleaned, sanitized, organized, and decluttered the nursery toys.
You can see the sunshine slipping away on yet another park afternoon. I LOOOOVE the sun right then at that point in the sky, it's so pretty.
