I'm flattered if you think I did this on my own, but a quick read through some pinterest articles and so many people said they regretted painting their own cabinets (so many steps, drip marks, roller brush marks, peeling cabinets a few weeks later).
No thanks :)
So we had guy come out and they professionally sanded and sprayed the cabinets, and they are so glossy and smooth and I love that they now match the feel of the rest of our house.
It's fun to do some updates every once in awhile (even more fun when you don't have to do the work!)
