Our summer bucket list included an American Girl playdate. Amaryllis wanted all her friends to bring their doll junk over and turn our living room into an AG world.
She set up all these little stations. A clothing store (see the cash register made out of the cracker box?), a hair salon, pet/vet shop, restaurant, etc.
Here is the AG house, complete with an upstairs and downstairs:
The dolls woke up every morning and got dressed and picked a job out of a hat, then they worked at that station and other dolls visited their shops.
Then we had a fashion show, it was cute!
Amaryllis and I made a "don't eat pete" game by cutting up the AG magazine.
It was a super easy playdate, all these girls are so mellow, I envisioned complete doll chaos. But it's funny with AG stuff, every girl def kept track of her things and knew exactly what was hers at the end when it was time to pack up.
Girls are so much fun :)

Curious... when do girls start falling in love with American Girl? Lindley is starting kindergarten and so far she is fine with her baby doll she's had since she was 1 :)
