DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES

While the big kids are at school, we lounge around. I am now chained to the house with a napping baby again, but I totally embrace it this time around. I remember going to my mom's friends house or them coming over (her name was Mrs Kenimer but we couldn't pronounce it, so she became Memer for all the years after) while they cooked and laughed their heads off in the kitchen, and us kids ran a muck. I am now understanding that the life of a housewife is 50 times more fun if you have someone to bum around with.

Making banana bread! Mmmm...

Sometimes we put the kids in the YMCA daycare and sit in the locker room and curl our hair or paint our nails. Don't judge.

DISNEY PASSES

After taking a year off from Disney, we are at it again. Every time we go we do something new. I don't know how people go for 2 days and get any kind of fun out of it. We take it slow and try and find a new show, new parade, new ride, new character, or new place to eat each time.

And I wonder why they always want daddy to make their mickey mouse pancakes?

VEGAS

We met up with Kelfo and her gang in Vegas. Genius idea to rent a house. I think I'm done with hotel rooms if the kids are in tow, it's just too obnoxious. Maybelle slept on the floor in the closet and the girls were in heaven sharing a room.

KINDERGARTEN
Amaryllis is loving Kindergarten. I'm amazed at how much progress they have made so far. High five to the public school system because I'd never be able to teach her all this stuff. So I really don't see why people are always griping and complaining about the FREE education our kids get. If you want more, do more at home and supplement. Honestly, these teachers give their heart and soul to these little kids and I think it's awesome. Go 'merica.

The kindergartners took a walking trip to a mail box so we got some mail a few days later.

SISTERS

With school in session, when bedtime rolls around all I hear is "but we didn't even get to play!". So quiet time has turned into what they call Sister Time and they run back and forth to eachothers room and play for a few hours.

KENSINGTON

She is running around the neighborhood lately, quite the popular little playdate. I can't believe she is almost 4 years old. That's how old Amaryllis was when we moved here to CA.
