She's cute, she's sassy, she's sweet, and she still asks for hugs when she is in trouble, how can you deny that and what exactly is the correct parenting method for that sort of manipulation?
It was a hard hard hard year (and a half?) trying to potty train her and I won't jinx anything because we've had plenty of relapses so I know better than to think I'm done. But it is amazing that in 1 year she has made so much progress in all other areas of development, she is right up there with the smarts and the social skills, quite the popular little girl around these parts.
AND
She is my little buddy and kept me company as a 3 yr old when Amaryllis went to preschool and now as a 4 yr old while big sis is in kindergarten, and I have gotten to know her in a whole new way.
ALSO
She is the most loyal little best friend to Amaryllis. They are so lucky to have each other, and I'm sure Maybelle will be bathed in their attention and immersed in their imagination land soon enough.
