It was a pretty and relaxing quick mini-trip to the beach this weekend with friends.
Except everywhere we went, we found things were still closed or shut down since it isn't high season yet. That was annoying.
Still, the sky was blue and the left side of my face is glamorously sun-kissed, thanks to 2 hrs of laying on the deckchairs walloring & laughing my head with my girlfriend. We should have braved up and bared our legs but it got windy so we were huddled under blankets and only our faces were showing.
"Seriously, when I look at my legs it hurts my eyes. Is that a problem?"

Man, we made so many butt-crack jokes everytime she bent over but I cannot remember any of them right now. Except that we had a long debate about her reaction if we ran up behind her and dumped a handful of sand down her skivvies. We didn't.

It finally arrived here from CA in this huge bag that was bigger than a coffin.
The bag has a intertube type of liner inside that you blow up with air, and it cushions the board so that it won't get dinged. Nifty huh?
Pretty blue skies and sparkly water, doesn't get much better than that.
Amaryllis one by one took off her coat, then shoes, socks, then the next time we saw her she was rolling up her leggings, and next thing we looked back and she was pulling off her pants too.
And no beach trip is complete without some cookies on the deck.
Yum.

That looks like such a fun trip. We miss the beach!
Zoe has that same heart coat as Amaryllis! Man, we need to get together and have play date. I'm sure Zoe would love Kenzi.
