July is Over?

July went by way too fast. We have been truckin' along and thankfully things have slowed down a bit.

I'm scrounging for ideas of fun things to do with Amaryllis so if you have any tips or places to go, please share!

She is funniest in the morning when she gathers all her toys. How much can one little girl hold?

We explored a new park on Walnut Street--it's really cool. I never knew they could fit a park in such a tiny plot of land next to a freeway ramp, but it's amazing how they did. The below section of the playground is for the big kids. Lots of cool things to climb on.
And on the other side of the trail is the toddler section. I love the squishy turf.
You will see in the below picture Amaryllis is running. That was before I got her some new sandals. I got her the kind that go in between your big toe (like flip flops). I didn't think anything of it, but apparantly that is just to weird feeling for her and when I put them on she gets very concerned and says "no no no no" and tries to pick it out from between her toes. Anyways, she doesn't really like to walk/run or wear them but I'm hoping she'll get used to it. What, they are cute!Oh, and as you can see by the below risque photo, she loves to undress herself. I go upstairs to get her from a nap, and she is totally naked in the crib saying "uh-oh momma".
