Going Vintage in Charlotte, NC

Well, my parents new house in Charlotte is finally finished, so Amaryllis and I went to help unload the millions of brown moving boxes. And there were millions! But first, let me just say their new house is beautiful and my mom did an awesome job picking out every last doorknob (go mom!). They live alongside a golf course in a super huge neighborhood called Highland Creek; the neighborhood is so large it has mini-neighborhoods inside it. There are several pools, sports clubs, playgrounds, and running paths--we are excited for all the fun that awaits us there!

The best part of the unpacking was when Char and I found some old boxes marked "baby clothes". They were full of our clothes from when we were little; so of course we had to play dress up with Amaryllis! And, we also dressed her up in my old doll clothes--she is the most beautiful baby doll, just like the one I always wanted!

Schramm Siblings Pop Quiz:
Do you recall who's was who's???

Answers: (clockwise) Char shows off a favorite blue jumper (sack?) that we would put on that ugly boy doll. Next is Amaryllis wrapped in Ben's baby blanket with TA-TA, and underneath Amaryllis gets cozy on a strawberry shortcake quilt (those darn Alabama thugs that stole the suburban also robbed us of the fullsize quilts, grrr). Moving on to the right, Amaryllis models another sack...mom said they didn't have carseats back then so everyone carried their baby in these sacks. Bottom row is uncle Calvin's bib. Next we have Sweet Muffin's best outfit (and I took Amaryllis to church in it today!). And then, our little Amaryllis makes the cutest boy ever wearing Uncle Calvin's favorite outfit (and she is sitting up so well!). Finally, recognize the cradle?

Bonus Points: What tune does Ben's TA-TA play???
