We've been waiting for this family reunion for 2 years!
Airplane selfies to pass the 5 hr flight.
Honestly I'm working on blocking out the flights from my reunion memories.
But for the record, she did sleep a whole 20 minutes. Shocked.
The girls were entertained and loving the schrammparents from the minute we landed.
The beach was perfect. It was so fun to be together again.
My mom asked me if I wanted any of the below CDs.
Hmmmm, do I want Encarta '95 or do you think Wikipedia is more knowledgable? :-)
Dad made this label years ago when they were getting the house ready to be a rental, and he still doesn't know my mom laughs at it every time she opens the cupboard.
Topsail is so cute and quaint.
Here's their library across the street form our driveway, a little book hut where you take one and leave one.
I can't even explain what it was like watching the cousins interact. Everyone had a new buddy on different days, they would float around to each other and play, float on over to Schramma for a book to read, go out on an adventure with Schrammpa to the pier, find an Uncle that would wrestle and tickle, it was all just this continual ebb and flow of chatter and laughter and some screams too.
Amaryllis was IN LOVE with the twins.
Dad would set up our beach stuff in the morning and after cereal, people would meander out and play for a few hours until nap time. Then we'd head back out before/after dinner.
Dinner's were the only set item on the agenda. We fed the kids first, then the adults ate.
It's safe to say, we've got some gorgeous eyes in this family!

Cousins!
Each day we did a small activity with the kids. Scavenger hunt in the house, birthday party extravaganza (they made these decorations for the table), kid bingo, present exchange, Annual Teddy Bear's Picnic in the dark with glow toys, kid and adult Olympics, games before family prayer, dance party, etc. It was all informal and we just kind of did things when there was a lull or when the kids were getting antsy after too much beach time outside.

After Topsail, we headed to Raleigh to hangout with our friends. It was so fun to pick up where we left off and just chill.
Then we had another day in Charlotte at Schramma's house.
