Fat Hands

Tiny fingers, 

fat soft squishy hands, 

curly toes.

I remember with Kensington I tried to be so diligent about watching her hands, I wanted to catch that moment when they went from chubby baby fingers with dimples to toddler hands with knuckles. 

 It happened overnight with Amaryllis so I was determined to catch it with Kensington!  I even enlisted my mom to be on the lookout with me. 

 Somehow, we missed it. 

One day we looked down at little Kenzibear and it had long passed. She had the hands of a big kid. 

Where were the chubby baby dimple hands? How did we miss it?!? When did it happen??

 

So now I'm back at it again. Daily hand checks for this little missy. 

And thinkin of Schramma every time.
