Magical Christmas | 3 Days at Disneyland

We had such a fun Christmas at Disneyland with the Bartlett crew.  We hadn't been in almost a year, since we wanted to let some time go in between renewing our annual passes.  That way we could dream about it and look forward to it, and lets be honest...these little spoiled girls needed a reality check and time off from their Disney Childhood.

But it was so fun being back in the park, and it's such a different experience to stay there and do the park back to back for multiple days.  And WAY different (aka crowded) at Christmas time.  But still just as magical.

Bugs Land is probably one of our favorite places cuz it's never too crowded, and when it's hot we like to sit in this secret spot that doesn't get sprayed (just lightly misted) and eat our minute maid frozen lemonade cups.

The Christmas Tree on main street was so beautiful.

Checkout some more pictures here, to see how it's decorated for Christmas.

Can you decipher the top ride picks on her list?

Spotted! Shoe wings at the Disney Studio 365 boutique.

World of Color was amazing.  Got to see it to believe it.

Amaryllis did the "Frozen" Makeover Package.  She loved it.  This child lives in a fantasy world, getting pampered at 5yrs old.

At the end of the makeover, we got to go through a back door and meet 3 characters:

We ate one of our dinners at The Rainforest Cafe, which is a cool restaurant in Downtown Disney outside the park.  Every 30 minutes it rains in the jungle and birds/elephants/monkeys go crazy.  Here is Kensington's best table manners--combing her hair with her fork.

Maybelle loved looking at everything.  She honestly "grew up" that week and came out of hiding in her carseat and joined the world.  What a great place to emerge.  It was so nice having aunties and uncles and grandparents.  They are great about taking the kiddos and spending time with them.

Christmas Morning was a bit odd to wakeup in a hotel room, but it was fun.  We stayed at the Grand Californian.  Two thumbs up for their Christmas decor and spirit.  They always had a pianist or old fashion carolers or something going on in the lobby that added to the holiday festivities.

Amaryllis has entered the world of American Girl Dolls.  She got Kit Kittredge, and this cute little bed that folds out into a double bed so she can have room for her bestie.

She has been in heaven!!!

Best Ride Photos

We got grandpappy to ride Tower of Terror.  He lived.

This is us being zen during the drop:

I love that Jake wore his Mickey shirt.  Also yes, I did put some more talley marks on my Disney shirt.

Here is Maybelle's first ride photo...except the gun is blocking her head haha.

All in all it was such a fun trip.  We got home and needed a vacation from our vacation.

We upgraded to season passes....next week anyone?
