We have been getting together with friends. It's fun to watch Amaryllis interact with other kids.
Modeling her new coat from Auntie Mel and shoes from Uncles Zack/Matt. She is reading a potty book and we have had a few successes on the potty. I have no clue what I'm doing, but lately I kept thinking I should try potty training since she is learning/developing so rapidly right now and seems like she would be able to get the hang of it. Even if things don't take off, it can't hurt to have her sitting on it every now and then. We'll see what happens but if you are interested you can follow her progress
here. (Yes, I made a blog about it. So lame, I know. But people kept asking me how it was going and I seriously typed it out like 6 times to different people in emails...hence the blog).
This was the first time I've seen her sit cross-legged and she looked so grown up to me. I can't believe she'll be turning 1 next month!

I love the cute coat and shoes. and blog look. :) maybe i'll have to track your potty blog. My cousin just waited until her son was a little older then went straight from diapers to undies using a technique she got from her sister in law. Of course she might have a harder time with her girls I don't know yet. :)
OMG I'm going to look at the potty blog right now! I'm thinking about potty training my 3-month-old. (kidding.)
Aww! I can't believe how much older she looks!! It hasnt been that long since I've seen her. She is adorable.
