Amaryllis has learned to stick out her tongue. It's totally precious. And, as you can see by the below photo, she has an "embarrassed" face too (probably because I make her sit in baskets)...
We have been traveling and having a grand summer. We celebrated the 4th of July in Topsail at the beach. You could see several fireworks shows sitting out on the deck while looking up and down the island. Jake & Cal also shot some big (and loud) ones off the beach.
Calvin was playing with the label maker and made these labels for Jake & Amaryllis (hers says "Amaryllis stinks").
I had to take pictures of her wearing something other than pink! I think this is one of the few non-pink outfits she has.
My mom accompanied Amaryllis and I to The Greenbrier for my client's 100th Diamond Jubilee. Of course my camera died right when we arrived, so I was only able to get this 1 shot using the timer setting (the floors were so shiny that the picture looks funky). It is an amazing five diamond, award winning resort and the meeting went smoothly.
All in all, it has been a fun and busy month. We are glad to be home for a bit, but also looking forward to the beach again for family reunion! The beach is such a fun and relaxing place. Even if you have to sit in a basket.
